Hallo zusammen!
Bestimmt erinnern sich einige von euch an den
PC-Klassiker Savage: The Battle for Newerth,
neuerdings bekannt als Savage XR: eine Mischung aus
Echtzeitstrategie, Egoshooter und Hack & Slash. Ein
Kommandeur pro Team sitzt im Echtzeitstrategiemodus,
baut die Basis auf und erteilt Befehle, die
restlichen im Team bekämpfen sich als Menschen oder
Bestien im Actionmodus, mit dem Ziel, die gegnerische
Basis zu zerstören.
Diese Arbeitsteilung zwischen Kommandeur und
Feldspieler erfordert natürlich viel koordinierte
Teamarbeit. Viele sehen daher in Wettkämpfen wie der
NSL oder dem PUG Cup die Schokoladenseite von Savage,
funktioniert dort doch vieles reibungsloser.
PUG Cup
Savage kann auf bald acht intensive eSport-Jahre
zurückblicken. Die Newerth Savage League (NSL)
befindet sich aktuell in der vierten Off-Season und
der PUG Cup 2011 - der weder eine
Clanmitgliedschaft, noch viel Spielerfahrung
voraussetzt - bietet eine erstklassige
Gelegenheit für unerfahrene Spieler, die beste Seite
von Savage XR auszutesten.
